Mr. Hill is Chairman and a member of the Investment Committee. Before forming AHC, Mr. Hill served as Chairman of the Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group, which included CBRE, Homart Development Co. and Coldwell Banker Residential, along with banking and mortgage entities. Mr. Hill has served on the Board of Directors of Sears Roebuck and Co., Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group, Coldwell Banker Residential Group, Pinnacle Holdings and Allstate Bank, formerly a subsidiary of Allstate Insurance.
Mr. Hill holds a Bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and an MBA from UCLA. He is a retired Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy and a member of the Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers.
Mr. Reid is a co-founder and member of the Investment Committee. Before forming AHC, Mr. Reid served as a senior executive for Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group in Chicago. Mr. Reid was one of three founding owners of Coldwell Banker Canada (now CBRE).
Mr. Reid is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois, holding the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). He holds degrees in Economics from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, and an MBA (with Distinction) from the Richard Ivey School of Business of Western University Canada. Mr. Reid is Chairman of the Chicago Chapter of The Counselors of Real Estate (CRE)™ and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Lake Forest Open Lands Association, where he leads its Land Acquisition and Preservation Committee.
Mr. Stoops is CEO and a member of the Investment Committee. He oversees all aspects of the firm, including investments and operations. He also remains actively involved with acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management, especially in the Southwest and Midwest. Mr. Stoops also helps manage an institutional real estate investment trust, where he both serves on the management team responsible for sourcing investments, vetting potential operating partners, and overseeing fund investments, and chairs its investment committee.
Mr. Stoops is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Stanford University and an MBA (with Distinction) from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, with concentrations in Finance and Accounting. Mr. Stoops serves on the Board of Trustees and is Chairman Emeritus of Providence Englewood Charter School in Chicago.
Mr. Broderick is a Principal and member of the Investment Committee. He is actively involved with acquisitions, dispositions, development, and asset management, especially in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. He is also involved in fund formation, fundraising and investor relations and oversees the firm’s legal administration. Before joining AHC, Mr. Broderick was an executive at a third-party logistics provider, where he helped generate significant growth leading to its successful sale. Previously, he practiced law at an AmLaw 100 firm and held operations and planning roles at a Fortune 300 company.
Mr. Broderick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Duke University and a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from Boston University. He and his wife actively support Lurie Children’s Hospital, where she serves on the Founders’ Board.
Mr. Gilbert is a Principal and a member of the Investment Committee. He is actively involved with acquisitions, dispositions, development, and asset management, especially in Texas. Notably, in addition to pure play multifamily development and value add strategies, Mr. Gilbert has designed and executed the firm’s successful development of condo-quality, built-to-rent townhomes throughout the Dallas metropolitan area. He helped build and now oversees the development, construction and management teams responsible for maximizing value at those properties.
Mr. Gilbert is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Management from Wake Forest University and a Master’s degree in Real Estate Finance from Sir John Cass Business School, City University-London, England.
Mr. Zabor is a Principal and a member of the Investment Committee. He directs the firm’s acquisitions and dispositions process and works with lenders to secure and manage debt arrangements for the funds and operating entities. Before joining AHC, Mr. Zabor worked in the real estate group at Henderson Global Investors, an institutional investment advisor, where he helped close acquisitions and dispositions exceeding $360 million.
Mr. Zabor is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois, holding the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Dayton.
Mr. Palace is actively involved with acquisitions, dispositions, development, and asset management throughout the United States and oversees the firm’s underwriting and acquisition diligence activities. Before joining AHC, was a member of the development acquisitions team at CA Ventures and the multifamily investment sales team at CBRE in Chicago.
Mr. Palace is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Enterprise Management from Wake Forest University.
Mr. Stiglic manages the firm’s asset and portfolio level reporting functions and oversees general accounting and finance processes, including tax and investor reporting. Before joining AHC, he served in various financial planning and reporting roles specializing in forecasting and performance reporting at Alight Solutions, a publicly-traded human resources and business services outsourcing firm.
Mr. Stiglic holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Florida Gulf Coast University.
Ms. Gill assists in general accounting and financial functions for AHC Funds and subsidiary entities. Prior to joining AHC, Ms. Gill was a Tax Associate at Friedman & Huey Associates LLP in Northbrook, IL.
Ms. Gill holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Purdue University Northwest.
Ms. Ehlke manages the firm’s daily operations, supports investor account management and reporting, oversees information technology, and generally keeps the office running. Before joining AHC, Ms. Ehlke managed the office and staff of a large dance and music school in the Chicagoland area.
Ms. Ehlke holds a Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship, with a focus in Leadership, from Central Michigan University. She also co-founded and directs a not-for-profit dance company based in Niles, IL that offers quality training and resources to young dancers of all means.
