Kimberly Ehlke

Ms. Ehlke manages the firm’s daily operations, supports investor account management and reporting, oversees information technology, and generally keeps the office running. Before joining AHC, Ms. Ehlke managed the office and staff of a large dance and music school in the Chicagoland area.

Ms. Ehlke holds a Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship, with a focus in Leadership, from Central Michigan University. She also co-founded and directs a not-for-profit dance company based in Niles, IL that offers quality training and resources to young dancers of all means.

Mike Thompsett

Mr. Thompsett is responsible for all day-to-day construction operations, including on-site management of subcontractors. He is actively involved in all cost estimations, bidding, and contractor selections, and manages stakeholder communications and expectations.

Mr. Thompsett has over 25 years of cross-functional expertise in multifamily and residential construction in Dallas and surrounding areas, with a record of success in large multifamily projects through all stages of development, from conception to realization. Before joining AHC, Mr. Thompsett was a superintendent at Verge Construction a mid-size General Contractor where he successfully executed the construction of several AHC Funds projects, among many others. Mr. Thompsett has a Bachelors of Science from Buffalo State University at SUNY.

Courtney Block

Ms. Block oversees the on-site management team and operations for our Texas multifamily portfolio. She is actively involved with the day-to-day operations, multifamily development, and value add strategies of all Dallas properties.

Ms. Block is a licensed REALTOR®in Texas. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Public Relations from Xavier University, Cincinnati.

Ali Juarez

Ms. Juarez is a Director of Development in AHC’s Dallas office, where she executes the Firm’s regional development pipeline while supporting acquisition and development activities throughout the U.S. She oversees or is involved in every stage of development, from feasibility and land acquisition through construction completion. She assembles and coordinates the design, engineering, and construction teams to ensure projects are delivered seamlessly and successfully. This includes heavy engagement in budgeting, procurement, and the day-to-day management of construction projects. Before joining AHC, Ms. Juarez worked at a nationwide AEC consulting firm, where, with various clients, she supported acquisitions, dispositions, and new construction of multi-family, office, industrial, retail, and hospitality assets.

Ms. Juarez is a Registered Architect in the State of Texas. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin.

Eric Lemieux

Mr. Lemieux is a Director of Development in AHC’s Charlotte office, where he leads the Firm’s regional development pipeline while supporting acquisition and development activities. Before joining AHC, he cofounded and ran Denciti Partners, a local development firm specializing in design-forward urban infill projects proximate to mass transit and greenway amenities, including in designated historic districts. Previously, he served as a Senior Project Manager with the City of Charlotte Department of Transportation’s Land Development Section, reviewing rezoning petitions and issuing development permits for the CLT Development Center. He also worked as a Design Engineer with a preeminent land development firm, focused on single-family, mixed-use, multifamily and master-planned developments.

Mr. Lemieux is a licensed Professional Engineer in North Carolina. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Land Development from Virginia Tech.
